"Your grandmother did my wedding years ago!" was a phrase I was lucky enough to hear quite often when I was growing up. The light on people's faces and the stories they told about their wedding day stuck with me from the first time hearing it probably around age 5 to now, over 21 years later. Not only did she pass her love of weddings to me, but my family has been in the wedding industry since the 1960s.
